The store's grand opening will take place Wednesday, April 29 from 6-9 p.m. and will include a star-studded guest list that features celebrities from many different branches of entertainment.

GRAND OPENING DETAILS:
Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid is inviting customers and fans to kick-off the Evening for Conservation event and grand opening on April 29, 2015 with live music, food and interactive exhibits beginning at 4 p.m. in the Pyramid parking lot.

The grand opening activities and Evening for Conservation event is free to attend.

WHERE: 1 Bass Pro Drive, Memphis, Tennessee; Parking Lot
WHEN:
2 p.m. Bass Pro Shops parking lot opens
2 p.m. City of Memphis and MATA free parking and free shuttle
4 p.m. Exhibits open and live music begins
5:30 p.m. Country superstar John Anderson performs
6 – 9 p.m. Opening remarks, ribbon cutting, celebrity meet-and-greet opportunities and store open to customers
1 a.m. City of Memphis and MATA free parking lots and free shuttle service ends (see parking details below)
PUBLIC PARKING: Due to the Grand Opening festivities, very limited parking will be available in the Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid parking lots. In order to provide a positive downtown experience for Memphians and visitors, the City of Memphis and MATA will provide free parking, and free shuttle service on April 29 and April 30.
In addition to the free and pay-to-park lots within walking distance of the Pyramid, there will be three free parking lots designated along AW Willis which will be serviced by a free shuttle to and from the Pyramid from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. At the same time, MATA will offer free shuttle service along the Main Street and Riverside loop routes from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on April 29 and April 30.
Beginning May 1, MATA will return to its normal service and fares with the exception of keeping a Pyramid drop off point. Pay-to-park lots around the Pyramid for May 1 – 3.
