MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

One person is dead after a crash on I-69 in Desoto County, Mississippi.

According to the Desoto County Sheriff's Office, a driver was traveling east towards I-55 in the west-bound lane of I-69. The driver crashed head-on with another car.

DCSO says that one person is dead and two were airlifted to the med.

Investigators are looking to see if alcohol was a factor in this crash.
