Memphis remains iced in Wednesday as a light dusting of snow overnight and freezing temperatures have kept road conditions dangerous.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow in some northwestern Tennessee counties. It remains in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Shelby County Schools, along with DeSoto, Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville and Germantown Municipal School Districts are closed.

At the end of the day Monday, airlines canceled 52 departures and 38 arrivals at Memphis International Airport. Tuesday, airlines ran a more typical flight schedule, with a few flights to Texas, New Jersey and North Carolina experiencing cancellations or delays.
